We suggest coming early, and enjoying beautiful Ojai! Otherwise Friday would be the latest to ensure you are around for all festivities!

Many people may have needed to rent a car to drive from the airport to Ojai. This is up to you and your comforts. I would recommend renting a car to have it -- though nice to know that Ojai is very walkable as well.

Below find options for airports: 🥇 Best Overall: Santa Barbara (SBA) — ~50 miles, ~1 hr drive. The closest major airport to Ojai. Fewer flight options and can be pricier, but the easiest and most scenic arrival. Great if you can find a direct flight. 🥈 Most Practical: Burbank (BUR) — ~60 miles, ~1–1.5 hr drive. A practical alternative with a solid range of flights and a manageable drive to Ojai. Much less chaotic than LAX, and easy to get in and out of. 🥉 Most Flights/Best Prices: LAX — ~85 miles, ~1.5–2 hr drive. The nearest large airport, about 84 miles away with an average drive of around 1 hour 45 minutes depending on traffic. Best for international travelers or anyone hunting the cheapest fares — but traffic can be brutal, especially on a Friday.

Tim and I have reserved the entirety of The Hummingbird Hotel for the weekend of May 14–16, and we'd love to fill all 31 rooms with our favorite people! If The Hummingbird isn't quite your style, a few nearby hotels are also available with alternative accommodations.

💰 Budget-Friendly Chantico Inn — ~$150–$280/night Averaging around $273/night, with rates as low as $127 on off-peak days. Basic but charming, with a pool and free breakfast included. Good for guests watching their budget. 💰💰 Mid-Range Blue Iguana Inn — ~$175–$280/night Typically around $176–$226/night, which runs about $105 cheaper than the Ojai average. Boutique feel with a pool and lovely gardens, though it's a couple miles from the town center. Ojai Rancho Inn — ~$200–$350/night Generally about $260/night, considered a good deal for a 3-star property in Ojai. Pool, sauna, jacuzzi, and steps from the Ojai Valley Trail. 💰💰💰 Upper Mid-Range The Hummingbird Hotel — (your block rate — fill in here!) Worth noting your negotiated group rate will likely be the best deal for this property. Su Nido Inn — ~$350–$530/night Average deals run around $421/night, with the best prices starting around $345. An all-suites boutique inn with kitchenettes, fireplaces, and a very intimate feel (only 9 rooms). HotelsCombined Hotel El Roblar — ~$495–$700+/night Bookings start at $495/night at this beautifully restored historic property — the oldest hotel in Ojai, reopened in summer 2025. Right in the center of town with two restaurants and a pool. 💰💰💰💰 Splurge Ojai Valley Inn — ~$700–$1,100+/night A good deal here runs between $540 and $988/night, with weekend rates climbing well above that. The classic 5-star resort with a spa, golf course, and multiple restaurants — the full Ojai luxury experience. Prices will vary significantly by date and availability, so encourage guests to book EARLY, especially since May is their peak season!

Yes kids are invited!

We will be having a welcome event Friday evening at The Dutchess (time), as well as a Sunday brunch in the outdoor area at The Hummingbird Hotel (time) with pastries and bagels and yummy things!

The venue is outdoors and has gravel and things. We will do our best to make walking around easier, but keep this in mind regarding high heels. We would suggest leaning towards more comfortable footwear!

Most places around Ojai on the main strip can be accessed walking or by bicycle. (The Hummingbird provides bikes for free). Otherwise, if you have rented a car, everything is a short drive away. The day of the wedding we will be providing a shuttle that will take guests from (X) to the venue. No need to drive that day!
